US-Israeli Gaza genocide
At least 37 Palestinians have been killed in a new strike carried out by the Israeli regime in the Gaza Strip. The massacre happened after the Israeli warplanes targeted a home in the northern town of Jabalia in the Gaza Strip. Most of the victims are women and children. Northern Gaza has been under relentless Israeli strikes and siege for over a month. Israeli forces have also targeted other parts of the besieged territory, killing dozens more. 11 people were killed and many injured in the bombings of the Shuja'iyya neighborhood in Gaza City, and the city of Beit Hanoun. 9 others also lost their lives in an Israeli airstrike on a tent sheltering displaced families east of Khan Younis. The death toll from the Israeli onslaught has now risen to over 43, 600, with over 100,000 others injured.
Israel kills journalists
The Government Media Office in Gaza has announced that four more journalists have been killed by Israeli forces in the besieged strip. In a statement, the Media Office condemned as a “heinous crime” the Israeli targeting and killing of Palestinian journalists. It called on the international community to take action against Israel and pressure it to stop the genocide in Gaza, including the targeted killing of journalists. The number of journalists and media workers killed by Israel in Gaza has now risen to 188. Palestinians say Israel does not want the truth about its atrocities to get out of Gaza. The UN Secretary-General Antony Guterres recently slammed the killing of journalists by Israel as unacceptable.
Hezbollah retaliation
The Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out more retaliatory strikes against Israeli military targets in southern Lebanon and in the occupied territories. In a statement, Hezbollah said it targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Lebanese town of Sheba’a with a rocket barrage. The resistance group also struck the regime’s troops in the northern occupied settlement of "HaGoshrim" with a salvo of rockets. Earlier, the group said it had targeted a major Israeli military base and a military factory south of Tel Aviv with missiles and drones for the first time. Hezbollah says the attacks are in support of the Palestinian people and in defense of Lebanon. Israel recently intensified its aerial strikes on Lebanon and launched a ground invasion of the country. Since last October, Israeli attacks have killed over 3,100 people and injured nearly 14,000 others.
