Venezuela has condemned the US seizure of one of its government planes as "brazen theft" which came just days after a high-level American delegation visited Caracas.  

The US is to seize a second Venezuelan plane held in the Dominican Republic during Marco Rubio’s visit.

The Panama Canal Authority has denied claims that US government vessels can now cross the canal for free.

El Salvador President Nayib Bukele has offered to US President Donald Trump that the Central American nation is willing to accept convicted criminals of any nationality, including American citizens.

Trump has initiated a trade war by imposing tariffs on Mexico, Canada, China, and potentially the European Union and Taiwan.

As part of the deal, Mexico will send an additional 10,000 troops to the US-Mexico border to help stop the flow of migrants and illegal drugs.
