Gaza genocide

More Palestinians are being killed in the Gaza Strip as Israel pushes ahead with its airstrikes and artillery fire on the territory. At least 25 Gazans have been killed and dozens injured since this morning. Among the latest deaths is a Palestinian paramedic, who was killed along with his family, near the southern city of Khan Yunis. 

'Entitled to retaliate'

Iran’s president says Israel's recent assassination of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran goes against all humanitarian and legal principles. Pezeshkian made the remark in a phone conversation with the Vatican's Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin. 

'No more peace talks'

President Vladimir Putin says Russia will halt peace negotiations now that Ukraine has launched an incursion into its Kursk region which has resulted in civilian casualties. Putin added that Kyiv carried out the incursion in an effort to improve its future negotiating position.
