US-backed coup in Mali
Malian military stormed the residence of the President, and scooped up the President and Prime Minister in a bloodless coup that led to many on the streets claiming democracy had won.
However, it appears that the coup was not instigated solely within the national lines of Mali. Evidence has now emerged that for the second time in 8 years, a coup in Mali has been carried out by a soldiers trained by the US.
