Ansarullah vows retaliation
Yemen’s Ansarullah movement has vowed ‘capital for capital’ retaliation after the recent Saudi attacks targeted multiple areas in the capital Sana’a. Hazam al-Assad, a senior member of Ansarullah, said the Saudi aggression against civilian targets in the capital Sana’a will not impede operations to expel Saudi-backed forces from Taiz. The remarks came after Saudi Arabia carried out strikes against multiple areas in the Yemeni capital. Separate strikes have also hit communication facilities in Saada. Local sources confirmed Saudi fighter jets hit civilian centers in the border city of Al Zaher. Earlier in the day, the Yemeni armed forces carried out an attack on Saudi Arabia’s Aramco oil facility in Riyadh. Footage showed plumes of smoke rising from the facility.
Iran warns enemies
Iran’s army spokesperson Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-Nia says the Islamic Republic is ready for any scenario. The senior military official said the enemy failed to achieve its objectives during the imposed wars, including overthrowing the current system and fragmenting Iran. He said the US and Israel also failed to destroy Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Brigadier General Mohammad Akrami-Nia said the resistance of the Armed Forces and the steadfastness of the Iranian people disrupted those calculations. Talking about the situation in the Oval Office, he pointed out that the US president is under Zionist pressure to start a new aggression against Iran while facing domestic opposition to the war. Meanwhile, an advisor to the IRGC aerospace force commander said Iran’s missile industry is driven by domestic capabilities and operational needs, allowing it to pursue innovation in missile production. Brigadier General Ali Balali noted that Iran has reached a level of advancement in the field where it no longer needs outside assistance.
Gaza genocide
At least six Palestinians have been killed in Israel’s Saturday attacks on towns and cities across the Gaza Strip. In the latest of these atrocities, one Palestinian was killed and several more were injured in a drone strike on Beit Lahia in the northern part of the strip. A deadly airstrike also hit a residential building in Gaza City, killing five people, including four women. Witnesses say the building and surrounding areas were hit three times while people were asleep. This brings the death toll since October 2023 from the US-Israeli genocidal war on Gaza to over 74,200. More than 175,000 others have also been injured in these attacks.
