IRGC retaliation, warning

The Islamic Revolution Guardس Corps has conducted fresh strikes on US bases in the region in retaliation for acts of aggression on southern Iran. The IRGC also warns regional countries against allowing the US to use their land for attacks on Iran. In the 19th wave of its operation, dubbed Nasr-2, the IRGC targeted US fuel support pier in Kuwait’s al-Ahmadi port as well as American combat aircraft in Bahrain’s Sheikh Isa base. Also during the 18th wave of the operation, a gathering point for US troops in Kuwait’s Arifjan was targeted. A simultaneous drone strike destroyed the radar system at the Ali al-Salem Air Base in Kuwait. Earlier, a US sea-drone depot and an artificial intelligence hub in Bahrain were hit. The retaliation comes as at least three people have been killed and eight others injured following the recent wave of US acts of aggression on Iran’s southern province of Hormozgan. Authorities say multiple bridges, a tunnel, and other locations were targeted.

US 'blatant war crime'

Tehran has slammed the US for its deadly attacks against Iranian civilians, saying the Iranian nation is now more united and determined to make their enemies regret their criminal aggression. In a post on X, Esmaeil Baqaei was responding to the martyrdom of a number of Iranians following a recent US attack in Hormozgan province. He said the United States committed another blatant war crime by targeting bridges and killing eight civilians, including women and people with disabilities. Using a sarcastic tone, Baqaei said Washington attempted to showcase its so-called strength by attacking civilian infrastructure and killing civilians. The latest attack is the most recent in a series of US strikes on Iranian civilians. Dozens of civilians have lost their lives since the US renewed its attacks on Iran.

Russia-Ukraine war

Seven people have been killed in new Ukrainian strikes on Russia. According to Moscow, over 50 others were injured after Ukrainian drones slammed into a warehouse in the city of Kotovsk. In a separate incident, falling drone debris ignited a fire at an oil depot in the city of Noginsk. Ukraine, meanwhile, reports that Russian forces struck infrastructure in the Odesa port. Officials said port facilities, buildings, storage tanks, and warehouses sustained significant damage. The exchanges of fire come as Ukraine has witnessed nationwide protests after President Zelensky’s decision to dismiss his defense minister.
