Iran's Army and Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) have successfully destroyed seven more advanced enemy drones while launching precise retaliatory strikes against enemy positions across the West Asian region.

According to an official announcement from the Army of Iran on Thursday, the integrated network of the country's Joint Air Defense Headquarters targeted and destroyed seven Hermes and MQ-9 drones in the western and southwestern regions of the country.

Ground force units and air defense systems of both the Army and IRGC coordinated seamlessly to accomplish the task.

These unmanned aerial vehicles, operated by hostile forces aligned with the Israeli regime and its American backers, were attempting intrusive operations over Iranian territory.

The swift and effective interception underscores the high readiness and advanced technological prowess of Iran's multilayered air defense architecture, which has repeatedly thwarted such violations amid the ongoing aggression by the US and Israel.

The Army announcement further detailed that, during the same timeframe, attack drones deployed by the ground, air, and naval forces of the Islamic Republic's Army conducted successful operations against key military targets.

These included strikes on Tel Aviv, the Miron radar installation belonging to the occupying Zionist regime in al-Quds, American military positions in Erbil, Iraq, and Camp Al-Adiri in Kuwait.

The precision-guided assaults inflicted serious damage on these sites, disrupting enemy coordination and surveillance capabilities.

Iran's armed forces continue to demonstrate resolute defense of national sovereignty and proportionate response to provocations from the United States and the Israeli regime, which initiated the current unprovoked aggression.

The latest successes of Iran’s armed forces highlight their commitment to protecting the country’s airspace and deterring further hostile incursions through measured yet impactful countermeasures.

Iran’s military has been conducting sustained retaliatory attacks against the American military installations in the region and targets within the Israeli-occupied territories.

The operations are being conducted in response to a war of aggression initiated by the United States and Israel against the Islamic Republic over the weekend.
