Columbia University students in New York took to the streets and campus again in order to expose the Zionist agenda of their university, which hosted former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett.

In a leaked email of the invitation, sent out to faculty and students at Columbia, it was revealed that Bennett was to be hosted by the University School of International and Public Affairs.

The email stipulated that those invited were cautioned to refrain from sharing this information with anyone.

The students did not stay silent. Bennett has not only proudly boasted about killing Palestinians and Arabs, but has previously vowed to do everything within his power to keep Palestinians from getting an internationally recognized state.

They are just giving Israel bombs left and right, even bypassing the Congress and encouraging ethnic cleansing, encouraging them to throw the people out in [sic] Gaza. Now, the people in Gaza were so happy to go home, and now there's no aid coming in.

It's totally heartbreaking and totally sickening, and we just have to keep on going, and we have to support the students.

They've been very, very brave, and the calling for divestment, which is a money issue, which is a big issue, and I know Columbia administration is being pressured by Trump right now, many students have faced being thrown out of school.

They've had to go to court. So I have the greatest respect for the students who are going through so much.

Protestor 01

People dropped a large banner on a campus building calling Bennett a war criminal, and other banners reading 'killer of children', while hundreds chanted for the freedom of Palestine.

A small group of Zionist supporters tried but failed to interrupt the demonstrators.

Protesters put stickers all along the sidewalks, windows and campus buildings calling out the complicity of Columbia University in Israel's genocide in Palestine.

If you think that the death of innocent teachers, kids, doctors, mothers, fathers, even those who have nobody, if that means nothing to you, and you're still asking why we should support Palestine, there's something wrong with you.

Doesn't matter if you're Muslim, if you're Christian, if you're Jewish, if you're Arab, if you're Dominican, those are our people.

Protestor 02

American university students, including those at Columbia, have been the face of the young revolution and resistance since last year's Gaza solidarity encampments, which called on universities to boycott and divest from the Israeli occupation.

Many students and faculty were arrested, suspended, and some were even beaten by the police.

The protest has revived what has been dubbed "pseudo Intifada", as the students are rejecting the presence of Zionist officials such as Bennett, in spite of the systematic oppression that they have been facing.
