Israeli atrocities in West Bank

Tensions are running high across the occupied Palestinian territories as Israeli troops continue their incursions into various towns and refugee camps in the West Bank. Regime’s forces blew up the home of Palestinian prisoner Ahmed al-Haimouni in the city of al-Khalil. Haimouni was accused of being involved in an anti-regime operation in Tel Aviv earlier this year. Troops also carried out several raids throughout the West Bank, abducting and injuring multiple Palestinians. On Tuesday, Israeli forces killed at least three Palestinians as part of their violent aggression against the territory. A new report has revealed that Israeli troops and settlers have conducted more than 1,700 raids across the occupied West Bank in February alone.

'Iran is independent'

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says his country has shown it does not succumb to external pressures, and continues its path of development and progress by relying on internal capacities. Araghchi made the remarks in a compelling article published in a domestic newspaper. The top Iranian diplomat highlighted that Iran has always adhered to its principles including independence, mutual respect, and avoidance of entering unconstructive dialog. Araghchi noted that Iran's independence is not an accident or the result of imposed conditions; rather, it is a conscious choice, a strategic decision, and an immutable cornerstone of the nation's foreign policy. Araghchi reiterated that Iran, unlike certain countries, relies on its domestic power and strategic autonomy to ensure its security and stability.

Trump acting as 'mediator'

US President Donald Trump says his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky has sent him a letter expressing willingness to sign a deal to allow the US to access his country’s natural resources. The US president made the comments during his address to Congress. Trump stated that Zelensky has agreed to engage in negotiations to end the war with Russia. Trump said Russia was also indicating willingness to negotiate an end to the conflict. In his speech, Trump reiterated that the US would reclaim the Panama Canal and acquire Greenland calling the territory strategically important for the US. Trump's speech was interrupted by protesting Texas Congressman Al Green, who was then kicked out of the chamber by Speaker Mike Johnson.
