Israel Lebanon aggression

Intense clashes are underway between the Israel regime and the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah as the two sides trade fire mainly along Lebanon’s southern border areas. The Israeli military has carried out fresh airstrikes on several cities, including Tyre and Qana. The regime air raids also targeted a number of areas in the Bekaa region, causing several fatalities. Over thirty people have so far been killed in regime’s airstrikes and artillery shelling since dawn on Thursday. That includes 23 Syrian nationals with children being among those killed. Meanwhile, the Lebanese resistance has carried out retaliatory strikes against Israeli targets deep inside the occupied territories. Israeli officials say a number of explosions were heard in several areas in the northern territories including upper Galilee, Acre and Haifa. They say some 200 rockets were fired only on the city of Safed in the past 24 hours, adding that half of the displaced residents do not have shelters to take.

'Israel threat to intl. peace'

Iran’s foreign minister has warned of a potential unprecedented catastrophe in West Asia due to Israel’s aggression and heinous crimes against regional nations. Abbas Araghchi made the remarks while addressing an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on Lebanon. The top diplomat said the only way to prevent further escalation is for Israel to stop its war on Gaza and end attacking Lebanon immediately. He stressed that without the ceasefire in Gaza, there would be no guarantee of peace in the region. Addressing the same meeting, the Lebanese caretaker prime minister also called for increased global pressure on Israel to accept a ceasefire in Lebanon and Gaza.

US-Israel Gaza genocide

More Palestinians civilians are killed in Gaza as Israeli air and artillery strikes continue to pound the coastal territory on day 356 of the US-Israeli genocidal war. In one of the latest attacks, at least two Palestinians were killed in a bombing of their home in the Qizan Rashwan area of the southern city of Khan Yunis. A similar strike on a residential building in the same city caused several fatalities. To the northern Gaza Strip, a Palestinian was killed and another injured in an attack on the Jabalia refugee camp. Meanwhile, the Israeli artillery shelling targeted several areas across the besieged territory, leaving an unknown number of people dead or injured. The Israeli aggression which began in October last year, has so far killed nearly 41,500 Palestinians and injured over 96,000 others.
