Hezbollah retaliation 

The civilian death toll continues to rise in Lebanon as Israeli airstrikes keep pounding the southern and eastern regions of the country. According to the Lebanese health minister, over 70 people have lost their lives and 400 others injured in the regime’s latest attacks. Israel’s strikes hit Bint Jbeil, Tebnin and Ain Qana in the south, a village near the port city of Sidon, and Maaysrah in the Keserwan district. The regime also, for the first time, hit the beach resort of Jiyyeh, south of the capital Beirut. Israel's continuous aerial aggression has displaced at least 500,000 civilians. The overall death toll from the regime’s aggression since Monday stands at around 700. Hezbollah has retaliated against the Israeli atrocities. On Wednesday, it launched an unprecedented strike into the heart of Israel for the first time, targeting the Mossad headquarters in Tel Aviv with a “Qader-One” ballistic missile. Hezbollah also targeted the Branit barracks with heavy artillery shells. It also hit Israel’s espionage equipment at the Ramya site. Israeli officials have talked of a possible ground aggression against Hezbollah, with army chief reportedly telling soldiers to prepare for a ground offensive. Pentagon says an Israeli ground operation in Lebanon does not appear imminent.

Iran supports Lebanon 

Iran’s foreign minister has called for global action to rein in Israel’s aggression against Lebanon, warning that the region is on the brink of an all-out catastrophe with disastrous consequences. Abbas Araghchi was addressing a press conference at the UN headquarters. The Iranian minister said Israel, as a rogue aggressive regime, has crossed all red lines. He said for this terrorist regime, international law, human rights, and peace mean nothing. Araghchi said the regime’s ultimate sinister intention is to set the whole region on fire. He stressed that Iran stands firmly with Lebanon and strongly upholds its inherent right to defend its vital interests.

US-Israeli genocide in Gaza 

The US-Israeli genocide in Gaza continues unabated as fresh air and artillery strikes pound the besieged territory for the 3,056 day. In one of the latest strikes, at least three civilians were killed and several others wounded after a Palestinian home was bombed near the southern city of Khan Yunis. A similar strike in Rafah left at least 6 Palestinians dead, including a mother and her four children. Further strikes in Rafah killed 11 Palestinians, including women and children. An Israeli airstrike targeted another home south of Gaza City, causing a number of fatalities. In the al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, six Palestinians, including women and children, were killed in an Israeli airstrike. An unknown number of people were killed after Israeli artillery shelled areas across Gaza. The Israeli aggression on Gaza has killed nearly 41,500 Palestinians so far, leaving over 96,000 others injured.
