US-Israeli genocide in Gaza
Relentless Israeli strikes continue to claim Palestinian lives in Gaza as the regime presses ahead with its air and artillery strikes across the besieged strip. In one of the latest strikes, a Palestinian paramedic was killed along with his family after an Israeli airstrike targeted his house near the southern Gaza City of Khan Yunis. At least four people were killed, and several others injured in a separate strike on the same city. In central Gaza, three civilians were killed in the Israeli bombing of homes in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City. An unknown number of Palestinians were also killed after Israeli shelling elsewhere in the strip. Meanwhile, some 75,000 people have been displaced in southwestern Gaza following new evacuation orders by the regime. That’s according to the UN agency for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA. The Israeli aggression which started in October has so far killed nearly 40,000 Gazans and injured more than 91,000 others.
Iraqi resistance warning
The Islamic resistance in Iraq warns that there will be no limits to its response if the US uses Iraqi airspace to strike its fighters inside the Arab country or carry out attacks against neighboring Iran. The umbrella group issued the warning in a statement. It denounced Washington for violating Iraq’s sovereignty and supporting the Israeli regime at the expense of regional security. The statement comes as the Islamic resistance in Iraq has been adamant in supporting Palestinians in the face of the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. It has carried out a number of anti-Israel operations in recent months. The umbrella group has also targeted some US bases in Iraq and Syria in response.
Hezbollah retaliation
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah says it has targeted an Israeli military position in the northern occupied Palestinian territories. Hezbollah said a volley of Katyusha rockets was fired at the newly established headquarters of the 146th Division in Giaton. It added that the operation was carried out in response to Israel’s attacks on civilian areas in southern Lebanon, particularly in the town of Maaroub. Hezbollah said the rocket attack was also aimed at showing the Lebanese movement’s support for Palestinians in Gaza. According to the regime’s media, the Iron Dome air defense system was unable to intercept most of Hezbollah’s missiles. The attack caused a huge fire in the western part of Galilee in the north of the occupied territories. Since the start of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, Hezbollah and the regime’s military have been exchanging fires along Lebanon’s southern border almost on a daily basis.
