Lebanon's Hezbollah resistance movement has carried out fresh retaliatory strikes on a number of Israeli military positions, among them two gatherings of the occupying regime’s forces.

The movement said its forces targeted with missiles and artillery shells several sites and positions of Israeli soldiers in the north of the occupied territories on Thursday to “support the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and support their resistance.”

They struck a gathering of Israeli troops in the vicinity of the Jal al-Alam military base and another in the Adather site with artillery shells, “hitting both directly”, Hezbollah said in a statement.

The Lebanese resistance movement also struck the Ramtha site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shuba hills as well as the Zebdine site in the Shebaa Farms with rockets.

Hezbollah said the resistance forces further targeted Israel's Zarait barracks with artillery shells, achieving direct hits.

A building used by enemy soldiers in the settlement of al-Manara was hit with "appropriate weapons,” in response to the Israeli regime’s attacks on Lebanon's southern villages and homes, it added.

Israel launched its brutal war on Gaza on October 7 last year after Palestinian resistance groups carried out a historic operation against the usurping regime in retaliation for its intensified atrocities against the Palestinian people.

The Israeli military has also been conducting attacks against the Lebanese territory since then, prompting retaliatory strikes from Hezbollah on a nearly daily basis in support of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

Hezbollah has pledged to keep up its retaliatory operations as long as the Tel Aviv regime continues its onslaught on Gaza.

More than 36,200 Palestinians have since been killed in the besieged enclave, the vast majority being women and children, and over 81,400 others injured, according to local health authorities.

Nearly eight months into the Israeli genocide, vast swathes of Gaza lie in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.
