'Public support for British monarchy falls to record low'

A new study revealed that only three out of 10 Britons believe that a monarchy is “very important”. The survey by the National Centre for Social Research says that 29% of those quizzed said the monarchy was "very important", while 25% said it was "not at all important/ abolish".
