NBA: Brooklyn Nets 121-113 Orlando Magic

Over the NBA, Brooklyn Nets' winning streak has been snapped after going down to the Magic 121-113 at the Amway Center in Orlando.

Overall, it was a back and forth contest. The hosts took the opening quarter 35-29. But, the Nets cut the deficit to two points by the end of the second quarter to go to their locker room trailing at 64-62.

The third quarter was the turning point for the Magic as they outscored their opponents 39-22 and despite losing the final by 11 points, Orlando managed to take their 1st victory after 9 defeats. Aaron Gordon scored 38 points for the Magic in the victory, while Kyrie Irving tallied a season-high 43 points for the Nets in the losing effort.

Meanwhile, the Western Conference leaders the Utah Jazz edged past the Toronto Raptors 115-112 away from home. The Jazz went to their locker room with a 55-54 lead. They went on to narrowly win the third and fourth quarters to register their 30th victory of the season.

The jazz will travel to Chicago to line up against the Bulls on Monday whereas the Raptors will face the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Sunday.
