Yemeni people continue to commemorate the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Iranian top General Qassem Soleimani and Iraqi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. The Tribal Cohesion Council has held a memorial event to express Yemeni tribes’ loyalty to the martyrs of resistance.
Yemenis continue to mark the first anniversary of the US assassination of resistance icons, General Qassem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis. The Tribal Cohesion Council has held a memorial event attended by a large number of state officials and representatives from Yemeni tribes.
During the event, the tribes' representatives pledged to continue the path of Soleimani and al-Muhandis by maintaining the fight against the Saudi-led coalition that seeks to serve the interests of America and Israel in Yemen and the region.
This event is the culmination of a week full of commemorating ceremonies to mark the first martyrdom anniversary of General Soleimani as well as Yemeni martyrs, who were a strong fortress against the enemies of the Islamic world.
General Soleimani is a role model for Yemen's tribes that have been standing by the Yemeni army on the battlefronts since the US-backed Saudi coalition launched its war on the nation in March 2015.
