Serie A: Juventus 2-1 Genoa
Defending Serie A champions Juventus are back to the top of the standings, after edging out Genoa 2-1 at the Allianz Stadium.
Leonardo Bonucci headed the ball home to give the Old Lady a 1-0 lead in the 36th minute.
Genoa got the equalizer before the break when Christian Kouame chipped the ball from the edge of the box.
Juve were unable to break the visitors who were down to 10 men, but Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo eventually saved them after converting from the spot, to keep Juve as the only unbeaten side in the Italian League. The victory puts them 1 point above Inter Milan.
