Inter Milan have defeated Hellas Verona 2-1 to extend their unbeaten run in the Italian Serie A to 11 games.

Borja Valero opened the scoring for Inter in the first half by steering-in Antonio Candreva's cross from close range. But Verona tied the match at 1-1 after the break as substitute Pazzini stepped-up to convert a penalty.

Perisic came to Milan’s rescue some eight minutes later by thumping the ball through a crowd of players.

With the win, Inter Milan move back into second place two points behind Napoli and one point ahead of six-time defending champions Juventus and Lazio.
