Militants of the Daesh terror group have reportedly executed seven young Iraqi men in the country’s conflict-stricken northern province of Nineveh as they continue perpetrating crimes on a large scale in the areas under their control.
The spokesman for the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in Mosul, Saeed Mamouzini, told Arabic-language al-Sumaria satellite television network on Friday that Daesh Takfiris killed the seven residents of the militant-held city of Mosul, located some 400 kilometers (248 miles) north of the capital, Baghdad, on charges of wearing jeans that are deemed inappropriate to the extremist outfit.
Mamouzini added that Daesh members have also arrested 265 youths in Mosul on the grounds that they had used their cell phones to take selfies.

On September 19, the Kurdish official said Daesh terrorists had detained 127 residents of the embattled northern Iraqi city over using mobile phones to communicate with relatives and friends.
Deadly militant mortar attack
In another development in Iraq, a child lost his life and eight more sustained injuries after members of the Daesh terrorist group launched a mortar attack against a residential neighborhood of Amiriyah Fallujah city, situated roughly 40 kilometers (24 miles) west of Baghdad, on Friday.
Gruesome violence has plagued the northern and western parts of Iraq ever since Daesh Takfiris launched an offensive in June 2014, and took control of portions of Iraqi territory.
The militants have been committing vicious crimes against all ethnic and religious communities in Iraq, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians and others.
Army soldiers and volunteer fighters are seeking to win back militant-held regions in joint operations.
