Press TV has conducted an interview with Stephen Lendman, a Chicago-based author and radio host, to ask for his views on the recent remarks made by American philosopher Noam Chomsky slamming the United States and Israel for destabilizing the Middle East.

Lendman says that Washington and the Israeli regime have planned to more than just destabilize the Middle East. They are in fact systematically destroying the region, he emphasizes.

The analyst goes on to criticize Britain for accompanying Israel and the United States in their actions and notes that, in their alliance, these three have formed “the real axis of evil.”

The author then argues that Israel and the White House want war and instability in the region to exist, because, otherwise, the United States will have no excuse for its presence in Middle East.

Lendman concludes by saying that the US, Israel and Britain alongside their regional allies such as Saudi Arabia pose a real threat to humanity and need to be stopped immediately.
