Workers in the US state of California have taken part in one of the largest strikes to hit America’s fast-food industry. The strike is part of a growing movement across the country as low-paid workers are rising up against the billion dollar corporations that are keeping wages down.

Fast food workers in Los Angeles are still not happy with a decision by McDonald’s to raise wages for company-owned stores. Press TV correspondent Ross Frasier tells us that’s because the wage increase won’t cover franchise restaurants which have the highest number of workers.
