Syria says its war on terrorist groups will continue until security and stability is fully restored in the country.

The Syrian army has regained control of a strategic town near Dara’a in the country’s south. The militants are said to have been receiving aid from the Israelis in that area. Many believe the fresh gain could turn the tide against insurgents fighting the Syrian government.

Syrian troops and Hezbollah fighters are advancing south of the country.
