In view of widespread unrest in Kazakhstan following a hike in fuel prices, there are speculations about foreign interference in the country, especially from the US who is guilty of such an act in several countries, like Ukraine.

Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev says constitutional order has mostly been restored in the Central Asian nation as security forces appeared in control of the streets in the country’s main city of Almaty.

At least 18 Kazakh police have been killed and more than 700 others wounded during violent demonstrations, reports say.
