Child deaths in Gaza

A 4-month-old Palestinian baby has died of severe malnutrition amid Israel’s 64-day aid blockade on Gaza. Local reports indicate the infant weighed only 1.5 kilograms at death that’s four times lower than the average weight for his age. The United Nations has been warning that the blockade has put thousands of Gazan children at risk of starvation. Since March, Israel's closure of Gaza's crossings to food and medical aid has caused living conditions to collapse. In the meantime, Israeli attacks continue across the strip, killing at least 51 people since this morning. That brings the death toll of the Israeli genocide in Gaza to over 52,500 people with 118,600 injured.

Israel plan for Gaza

Hamas rejects an Israeli plan to bypass international aid agencies and distribute supplies directly inside Gaza’s militarized zones. The movement argues that humanitarian aid must be handled by competent international or local government organizations, and should not be used as a tool of political blackmail. The group called the proposed Israeli mechanism a violation of international law and an extension of the policy of starvation and distraction. Hamas says the Israeli regime wants to buy time to commit further genocide. The Israeli Cabinet has already approved a plan to expand its occupation in Gaza and move Gazans to a designated zone with food and supplies provided by US security contractors. Meanwhile, Israel’s far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has threatened that Israel is seeking to permanently conquer Gaza. Another minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir has stated that the only aid that should enter Gaza is aid for voluntary migration, stressing no food should enter the territory.

"Netanyahu torpedoing Iran deal"

The Iranian Foreign Minister accuses Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu of sabotaging US diplomacy on Iran and dragging the nation into unnecessary conflicts. In a post on X, Abbas Araghchi said Netanyahu's actions, including lethal support for Israeli policies in Gaza and Yemen, have failed to benefit the American people. He said that Netanyahu is directly interfering in US political affairs to influence decisions regarding Iran. He pointed out that the Biden administration's 23 billion-dollar aid package for Israel, which he called unprecedented taxpayer expenditure, is just a fraction of the potential cost of a misstep regarding Iran. The top diplomat stressed that a peaceful resolution for the Iran nuclear program is achievable through diplomacy, that is mutual respect and shared interests, something that could be undermined by Netanyahu's stance.
