The United States has carried out a fresh wave of airstrikes across multiple regions in Yemen, as the Arab country intensifies its operations against Israeli and American interests in support of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
Yemen's official Saba news agency, citing a security source speaking on condition of anonymity, reported that US warplanes carried out a string of raids on the Kamaran Island, located at the southern end of the Red Sea, early on Friday.
Two US airstrikes hit the Bani Hushaysh district in the capital province of Sana'a.
The US military also launched a series of airstrikes on the al-Haymah Ad Dakhiliyah and Manakhah districts of the same Yemeni province.
Elsewhere in the Harf Sufyan district of Yemen's northwestern province of 'Amran, American fighter jets conducted two air raids.
The Medghal district in the central province of Ma'rib was also bombed four times.
No immediate casualty reports or damage assessments were available from the strikes, according to local media.
In reaction to the atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza and the aggression of the US and UK against Yemen, the Yemeni Armed Forces have initiated a series of strikes aimed at Israeli, American, and British interests in the Red Sea and adjacent regions.
As the genocidal war on Gaza escalated, the Yemenis enacted a strategic blockade on essential maritime routes, with the goal of obstructing the delivery of military supplies to Israel and urging the international community to take action regarding the ongoing humanitarian emergency in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have declared they will continue their assaults until Israel ceases its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
