Report: Occupying forces pursue systematic starvation against Palestinians

Israeli regime stopped all humanitarian aid supplies from entering Gaza at the Jabalia Refugee Camp in Gaza on March 11, 2025.

In a blatant violation of all international laws and conventions, the occupying forces in Gaza have directly targeted 26 soup kitchens and bombed over 37 aid distribution centers since the beginning of the genocidal war on the strip, the Government Media Office in Gaza has said in a report.

The kitchens were providing meals to the displaced and the hungry.

The move is aimed at sending a clear message to the world about pursuing a systematic starvation policy as a tool of war and genocide against more than 2.4 million Palestinians trapped in the Gaza Strip.

This comes amid tightened siege against Palestinians for nearly a month, during which all border crossings have been completely closed, and the entry of humanitarian and relief aid - including vital fuel trucks needed to maintain the bare minimum for survival in Gaza- has been blocked.

The Zionist regime has blocked 16,800 humanitarian aid trucks and 1,400 fuel trucks (diesel and cooking gas) from entering Gaza since the beginning of March, employing inhumane methods of warfare against helpless Palestinians.

The regime continues to obstruct the implementation of the humanitarian protocol it signed. It has blocked the entry of 200,000 tents and 60,000 caravans, which were designated to shelter approximately 280,000 displaced Palestinian families whose homes were destroyed by the occupation.

It also refuses to allow in heavy machinery necessary to remove rubble and recover the bodies of more than 11,000 martyrs and missing persons still trapped under the debris.

The current siege imposed on Gaza is but an extension of an 18-year-long systematic policy of starvation and dehydration by the occupation and the US.
