US Yemen attack slammed
Millions of Yemenis rally across the country to express their unwavering support for the people of Gaza and denounce the US strikes on their country. Following a call by Ansarullah leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi, millions of Yemenis took to the streets of different cities including Hudaydah, Sanaa and Amran calling for an end to the Gaza blockade by the Zionist regime. The demonstrators also demanded the Muslim world unite against relentless Israeli crimes in Gaza. The demonstrations are held in the wake of recent US attacks that killed at least 53 Yemeni civilians. Yemen's armed forces have resumed retaliating by blocking the passage of Israeli vessels in the Red Sea to force the Israeli regime to fully lift the siege on Gaza.
More Gazans killed
The Israeli regime presses ahead with its blatant violations of the Gaza ceasefire, killing and injuring more civilians across the besieged territory. Three young Palestinians were killed after Israeli warplanes bombed a gathering of civilians in central Gaza. At least three Gazans were also injured following a drone attack on Rafah city. Another young Palestinian woman died from injuries she suffered after her home was bombed in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza. This brings the Palestinians' fatalities in the Israeli genocide since October 7, 2023 to nearly 48,600. More than 112,000 people have been wounded too.
Iran-IAEA interaction
Iran's deputy foreign minister in Legal Affairs has met with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Kazem Gharibabadi called the discussions in Vienna “frank and constructive,” and Rafael Grossi described them as “timely.” The two exchanged views on Iran-IAEA cooperation, nuclear facility security, recent developments, and sanctions relief. Gharibabadi emphasized Iran’s long-standing cooperation with the IAEA and said disputes could be resolved if external political pressures on the Agency are removed. He also met with Russia and China’s envoys at the atomic agency who called for the lifting of anti-Iran sanctions and avoiding military action against Iranian nuclear infrastructure.
