Why did the resistance fight against Israel? Perhaps the simple answer lies in geography and the historical ties between the Lebanese and Palestinians that date back to before the occupation of Palestine, or maybe it was the idea of standing against the injustice faced by the Palestinian people, a part of whom were displaced to Lebanon in 1948.
A significant number of Palestinian refugees still reside in Lebanon today. Some might interpret the resistance in Lebanon as a reflection of human solidarity, religious ties, or legal principles.
While these are all valid reasons, there’s an additional factor that will be elaborated on in this episode. We will talk in this regard with someone who fought against the enemy during the occupation of Beirut in 1982.
