The Israeli prime minister's son has been "exiled abroad for hitting his father," according to a member of the Knesset.
Opposition lawmaker Naama Lazimi said on Sunday that Netanyahu's son, Yair Netanyahu, was "exiled abroad for hitting his father."
"Unequivocally, he was exiled abroad. He cannot return to Israel," she said, reportedly shocking her fellow lawmakers with her statement.
Netanyahu's Likud Party responded, threatening to sue Lazimi over false statements regarding the Israeli prime minister's son.
In 2022, Benjamin Netanyahu himself said on Twitter that he “did not agree with the things he [Yair] said.”
Yair and his 30-year-old brother Avner are the sons of Netanyahu from his third wife, Sara Ben-Arzi, who he married in 1991.
