Hailing Gaza resistance

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says the 15-month resistance of Palestinians against the Israeli genocide in Gaza has shattered the apparent grandeur of the world’s big powers. He was speaking in a meeting with Secretary-General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Ziad al-Nakhala. Pezeshkian said no amount of effort could have laid bare the criminal and genocidal nature of the Zionist regime and its supporters more clearly. He stressed that the stain of these crimes will never be erased from the face of the Zionist regime and its backers. Reiterating Iran's unwavering support for the people of Palestine and Islamic resistance, the Iranian president said all Muslim countries must help Palestinians rebuild Gaza. He also called for unity among Muslim people, saying the Zionist regime and its backers use divisions among Muslims against them. For his part, Nakhala lauded Iran's support for the Palestinian resistance. He said the Zionist enemy wants to obtain through political maneuvers what he has not been able to get through military means.

Israel violating Gaza truce

Israel continues to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement with Hamas by carrying out deadly attacks against Palestinians across the blockaded territory. An Israeli drone strike targeted a gathering of Palestinians east of the southern city of Rafah, killing at least one and injuring several others. The new fatality was among three Palestinians killed by Israeli forces on Wednesday. According to Gaza Health Ministry, another Palestinian succumbed to wounds he had sustained in earlier Israeli attacks, while two bodies were retrieved from the rubble. Israeli forces also demolished several Palestinian houses in the city of Rafah in violation of the ceasefire agreement that entered into force in mid-January. The death toll from the regime's genocide now stands at nearly 48,300, with more than 111,700 others injuries.

Israeli crimes in West Bank

Israeli forces have killed three Palestinian men in a violent raid on a refugee camp south of the occupied West Bank city of Tubas. According to Palestinian media, the regime’s forces besieged a house in the Far'a refugee camp and engaged in fierce clashes with Palestinian fighters. Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces targeted the house with shoulder-fired missiles. They also abducted the bodies of the three Palestinians while withdrawing from the house. The Hamas resistance movement strongly condemned the attack. It said the escalation of the regime’s crimes in the West Bank, and its intensified destruction and killing operations, are evidence of Israel’s fascist approach to the people of Palestine. The movement stressed that assassination of resistance fighters will only strengthen the Palestinian people’ determination to continue resistance until complete liberation of their land.
