A former Italian lawmaker and vice-president of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Pino Cabras has released a book titled 'Against Real Zionism, Diary of the 21st Century Genocidal Infamy'.

Pino Cabras, an experienced political analyst, was a member of the once anti-establishment party, Five Star Movement, before being expelled from the group in February 2021 for voting against a confidence motion to back Mario Draghi, technocratic government during the COVID crisis.

Today Israel is in the hands of supremacists, racists whose policies focus on ethnic cleansing.

It is like having an elephant in the room. Everybody pretends that nothing is wrong when everybody is aware that there is a big issue.

This is hugely in contradiction with the West's rhetoric on human rights.

Since October 2023 mainstream Italian media have unrelentingly prioritized the Israeli narrative over the Palestinian one, relying heavily on official reports from the Israeli side without any fact checking.

The New York Times instructs journalists covering Israel’s war to restrict the use of the terms “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” and to “avoid” using the phrase “occupied territory” for the Palestinian lands occupied by Israel.

In addition, all news from Gaza has been presented without any historical contextualization or humanization of Palestinian victims.

There is a well established mechanism in most of the West that imposes a crackdown on freedom of speech.
