Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei leads funeral prayers for two high-profile Iranian judges who were assassinated in a terrorist attack in Tehran.

The judges -- identified as Ali Razini, head of Branch 39 of the Supreme Court, and Mohammad Moqiseh, head of Branch 53 – were assassinated in a terrorist attack at the Supreme Court building in downtown Tehran on Saturday.

The judges worked on cases fighting crimes against national security, espionage, and terrorism.

Ayatollah Khamenei carried out the religious ceremony over the bodies of the two judges at Imam Khomeini Huseinyeh in Tehran on Sunday.

Speaking to the families of the two martyrs, the Leader said Razini and Moqiseh had made great efforts during their lives, and therefore they deserved divine reward and martyrdom.

In a message on Saturday, Ayatollah Khamenei described Razini as a diligent scholar and Moqiseh as courageous and extended his condolences to the bereaved families of the two judges over their sad demise.
