Battling with terrorists
The Syrian armed forces, backed by artillery and missile units, are engaged in fierce fighting with foreign-backed terrorists in the outskirts of Hama province after liberating several nearby areas from the Takfiri groups. The army says its forces carried out attacks on the hideouts of a group called al-Asa'ib al-Hamra, inflicting heavy losses on terrorists and their equipment. The group is affiliated to the al-Qaeda-linked Tahrir al-Sham terrorist organization. The army also pushed back terrorists from the Jabal Zayn al-Abedin area, bringing relative calm there. Earlier, joint Syrian-Russian airstrikes as well as shelling left at least 300 terrorists dead in the Hama countryside. They have also intensified strikes on the southern part of Idlib province. Meanwhile, the Syrian army denied reports about the entry of terrorists into the city of Hama. According to the Syrian media, at least 1-thousand-600 terrorists have been killed since the beginning of the military operations.
US-Israel Gaza genocide
Israel’s relentless air and artillery strikes continue to claim civilian lives and cause destruction across Gaza, as the regime presses ahead with its genocidal war. At least three people have been killed in one of the latest Israeli attacks targeting a residential building in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Israel military also bombed northern Gaza City in the early hours of Thursday. Also, the death toll from Wednesday’s attack on a tent camp in the al-Mawasi area in southern Gaza has risen to 23. The area was designated a safe zone by Israel but it has been constantly hit by the regime’s warplanes and artillery. Meanwhile, northern Gaza experienced new attacks, especially in the cities of Beit Lahiya and Jabalia. Since the onset of the Israeli war on Gaza in October last year, over 44-thousand-500 people, mostly women and children have been killed.
Slamming ethnic cleansing
The UN General Assembly has held a meeting to discuss the Gaza Strip amid Israel's ongoing bloodshed there. During the meeting, the Palestinian envoy to the UN slammed what he called ‘ethnic cleansing in broad daylight” by the Israeli regime.
