Hezbollah hits Israel war ministry
Hezbollah has carried out fresh retaliatory operations against Israeli targets deep inside the occupied territories, hitting a number of the regime’s important bases. In one of its latest operations, the group’s ballistic missiles targeted Israel’s HaKirya base, which is the headquarters of the regime’s ministry of military affairs, for the second time on Wednesday. The group also hit the Glilot base on the suburbs of Tel Aviv with a barrage of missiles. Israel’s Amos base in the northern occupied territories was also hit with a squadron of drones. Hezbollah said it targeted the "IWI" Military Weapons Industries Company, also on the outskirts of Tel Aviv, with missile barrages. The resistance movement added that it confronted two Israeli Hermes 450 and Hermes 900 drones with surface-to-air missiles, forcing them to leave Lebanon's airspace. Earlier, the Israeli military admitted that at least six members of its Golani Brigade were killed in southern Lebanon on Wednesday.
US-Israeli Gaza genocide
Israel’s unrelenting air and artillery strikes continue to pound residential areas in Gaza, claiming more civilian lives across the blockaded territory. In northern Gaza, NINE Palestinians lost their lives in an airstrike on Beit Lahia. The regime’s forces also burned a school, which was used as shelter by hundreds of displaced people in Beit Hanoun. In central Gaza, an attack on the al-Maghazi refugee camp left at least five people dead. Nearly two dozen casualties were also reported following an Israeli airstrike on tents sheltering displaced people in Al-Mawasi area, west of the southern city of Khan Yunis. At least 47 civilians were killed in Israel’s attacks in a matter of 24 hours. The death toll from the regime’s genocide now tops 43,700. More than 103,000 others are injured.
Paris pro-Palestine protest
Hundreds of demonstrators have hit the streets in the French capital to protest a pro-Israeli event at the heart of Paris, organized by far-right Franco-Israeli personalities. Waving Palestinian and Lebanese flags, protesters chanted slogans slamming Israel’s atrocities in the occupied territories and Lebanon. They also held placards reading “Blood on your hands” and “Paris against genocide.” Security measures have been beefed up across the city. Police in riot gear pushed up against protesters, using tear gas to disperse them. The gala was organized by a French charity in support of the regime ahead of a France-Israel football match on Thursday. Israeli far-right Minister Bezalel Smotrich was expected to be one of the event’s keynote speakers, but he canceled his trip amid angry protests. In recent days, six organizations including the French Human Rights League, had issued a joint statement calling for the event to be canceled.
