'You cannot be neutral in a genocide', Greta Thunberg joins pro-Palestinian rally in Milan
Swedish climate activist, Greta Thunberg, on Friday took part in a Milan demonstration of students in support of Palestinians.
"If you as a climate activist don't also fight for a free Palestine and an end to colonialism and oppression all over the world, then you should not be able to call yourself a climate activist", the founder of 'Fridays for Future' movement said. "Silence is complicity, you cannot be neutral in a genocide."
Widely known for her campaign to end man-made climate change, Swedish-born Thunberg has increasingly taken up the Palestinian cause and said in May such protests "should be everywhere".
