Iraqi resistance fighters have launched a drone strike on a strategic target in the southern part of the Israeli-occupied territories in solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese people.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq, an umbrella group of anti-terror fighters, in a statement published on its Telegram channel, claimed responsibility for the Thursday evening attack.
According to the statement, the strike was carried out with a sophisticated kamikaze drone, which was used for the first time.
It said the operation was conducted in continuation of the struggle against the occupying Israeli regime, in support of Palestinians and the Lebanese nation, and in retaliation for the massacres that the usurping Zionist entity is perpetrating against women, children, and elderly people in the besieged territory as well as the Arab country.
The group noted that it will continue to target and destroy important installations across the occupied lands.
