US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

More Palestinians fall victim to fresh air and artillery strikes in Gaza as the US-Israeli genocide continues unabated across the blockaded territory. In the north, the regime’s shelling targeted a school-turned-shelter in Gaza City, claiming the lives of at least 22, including 14 children and five women. Eight more people were also killed in the same city by an airstrike that targeted a house and shelling of a shop. Meanwhile, in the south, even more airstrikes targeted residential areas in Khan Yunis and Rafah, killing at least nine people. The Israeli forces have also targeted a medical supplies warehouse in Rafah, taking the lives of four members of Gaza’s Ministry of Health team. The regime’s genocide has killed nearly 41,400 Palestinians and injured more than 95,700 others since last October.

Anti-Netanyahu protests

Israeli security forces have attacked protesters demanding the regime to secure the release of captives held in Gaza. Rallies were held in several occupied cities, including Tel Aviv and al-Quds. Zionist police forcibly dispersed the protest and attacked the former IOF Chief of Staff, Dan Halutz, who was among those protesting. Israeli media reported that a number of family members of the captives were wounded, and some were hospitalized. Demonstrators said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu should step down and also called for snap elections. The protesters said Netanyahu is putting his interests above the lives of the captives. Gaza cease-fire talks appear to be at a stalemate after the Israeli regime added new conditions to a truce proposal by the US that Hamas had already agreed to.

Hezbollah retaliation

The Hezbollah resistance movement has fired heavy-caliber missiles at the military positions in central occupied Palestine in retaliation for Israel’s heavy air strikes on southern Lebanon that killed many civilians. The movement said in a statement it had attacked the Ramat David airbase in northern occupied Palestine using dozens of Fadi-1 and Fadi-2 missiles. Media reports said over 100 missiles were fired at Israeli positions. The Israeli media said sirens were heard in wide areas in northern occupied Palestine. The regime’s media said the resistance significantly expanded the range of missiles fired at Israel. Around 300,000 settlers were forced to take shelter after the barrage of rockets was launched from Lebanon.
