Genocide in Gaza

Now eleven months into Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, regime forces continue killing Palestinians using US-supplied weaponry. Central Gaza has been the epicenter of the bombings, with the Nuseirat refugee camp being the latest target. The al-Aqsa martyr’s hospital in Deir al-Balah was hit as well, witnesses saying many drones had been flying above the complex since early morning hours. People taking shelter at a school in Gaza city were also killed by another strike. The Israeli aggression, which began last October, has claimed the lives of nearly 40,800 Palestinians and injured over 94,000 others, mostly women and children.

Israel West Bank incursion

30 Palestinians have been killed over the past six days. The Israeli regime launched widespread military raids across the occupied West Bank. In Tulkarm, north of the West Bank, widespread destruction has been reported as several bulldozers accompanied by troops entered the city from the west. The bulldozers are destroying the city’s infrastructure, property and roads. Two hospitals have been besieged by Israeli forces preventing those injured from receiving medical treatment. Also in the city of Jenin, bulldozers are razing structures, roads and sidewalks. The regime forces are threatening members of press with shooting and confiscating their news gathering gears in Ramallah and al-Khalil, also known as Hebron. Meanwhile, local sources have reported heavy clashes between resistance fighters and Israeli forces in Tulkarm.

Israel Industrial action

Israel's Labor Court has ruled that a general strike that has shut down much of the Israeli economy must end amid protests against Netanyahu’s regime continues. The Ben Gurion Airport was shut down till noon. Itamar Ben Gvir, the Israeli national security minister, has welcomed the court’s decision, while the families of the Israeli captives say it is not about the strikes but about rescuing the captives who are abandoned by Netanyahu. Meanwhile the Israeli police forces have attacked the protesters and made several arrests. The strike was called by Israel’s largest labor union Histadrut on Sunday when massive protests hit the occupied territories over Netanyahu’s failure to release the captives. That following protests in different cities including Tel Aviv, Haifa and the occupied Al-Quds. In Tel Aviv alone, 300,000 people were estimated to have attended the protest which has been the biggest since October 7 last year.
