Israel West Bank bloodshed
Nearly a dozen Palestinians are killed in the West Bank as the Israeli regime launches a major military offensive in several cities across the occupied territories. The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that a number of Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike on the al-Fara refugee camp in the Jordan Valley. Israeli tanks have besieged the camp. Earlier, an Israeli UAV hit a vehicle in Jenin that according to medical sources left several Palestinians dead and injured. The regime has deployed hundreds of troops to Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas. The deadly offensive has been met with resistance, with fighters from the al-Quds movement destroying an Israeli bulldozer. Israel has intensified its crackdown in the West Bank since launching a genocidal war on Gaza. More than 650 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied territories over the past 10 months.
Israel al-Aqsa incursions
The head of the Hamas movement in the occupied West Bank says the Palestinian nation remains firm to continue their resistance against the Israeli occupation and atrocities. Zaher Jabarin said that Palestinians have proved they are not afraid of Israeli threats and would not surrender despite the regime’s crimes. He, however, called for unity among Palestinians. He also warned the Israeli authorities against igniting a religious war, a reference to the far-right Israeli minister’s remark that he plans to build a synagogue in al-Aqsa Mosque. In a separate statement, Hamas slammed the plan as dangerous escalation, saying Israel is playing with fire. The group said the regime would not succeed in erasing historical facts, and that the mosque will remain an Islamic entity. The Islamic Jihad movement also condemned the Israeli minister’s provocative proposal, while calling the regime’s extensive aggression in the West Bank an open and undeclared war.
US-Israeli genocide
More Palestinians are killed in air and artillery strikes across the Gaza Strip as the Israeli genocidal war on the blockaded territory is now in its 11th month. Fresh Israeli strikes on several locations in the Palestinian strip have claimed 10 civilian lives, including a journalist. That brings to 27 the number of Gazans killed since early hours of Wednesday. According to UN agencies, the Israeli war has displaced 90% of Gaza’s population, with almost half a million people now enduring catastrophic hunger and health-related problems. The Israeli aggression, which began in early October last year, has so far claimed the lives of over 40,500 Palestinians and injured more than 93,000 others.
