West has lost ‘dignity’ in Gaza genocidal campaign by backing Israel: Iran

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kana’ani

Iran says the Western camp has lost its “dignity and honor” in the campaign of death, destruction and genocide in the besieged Gaza Strip given its unqualified assistance to Israel.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kan'ani made the remarks in a post on X on Tuesday, where he condemned the West’s double standards on the issues of terrorism and human rights.

“In the terminology of the US and Europe, any people and groups who defend their land against foreign occupation forces and fight to defend their homes, families and human dignity against an invading army armed to the teeth and murderers of children and women are considered terrorists.”

“Any party who supports an oppressed nation under occupation is considered sponsor of terrorism.”

However, he said, the West not only refrains from designating Israel as terrorist, but it praises and provides the regime with all kinds of political, security, and military assistance.

“The West has lost its integrity and honor in the war on Gaza and has suffered from ethical collapse and civilizational decline,” Kan'ani stated.

Since October, Israel has killed nearly 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza. A considerably large number of the people have been women and children.

Washington has supplied the regime with more than 10,000 tons of military equipment.

Germany’s lethal arms exports have also seen a tenfold increase since.

Other military exporters include France, Britain, Canada and Australia.
