US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

Israel’s genocidal campaign in Gaza continues as regime forces remain engaged in the ground operation for the fifth consecutive day in the southern city of Khan Yunis. According to civil defense teams, at least 129 Palestinians have been killed in the last 5 days. They say the death toll is likely to increase as many bodies are still trapped under the rubble. In central Gaza, the Israeli military has bombed the Bureij refugee camp again, injuring 7 people, most of them children. Separately, Israeli forces shelled the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, killing at least 4 people there. The Israeli genocidal war that began in early October has taken the lives of more than 39,100 Palestinians so far, while leaving over 90,000 others injured. 

Hudaydah port operational

It was just days ago that Israel launched airstrikes on the Yemeni port city of Hudaydah, targeting fuel storage facilities there. The regime with its attack on civilian infrastructure intended to create a new humanitarian crisis in Yemen but to no avail. 

Putin-Assad meeting

The Russian president has met with his visiting Syrian counterpart in Moscow to discuss bilateral and regional issues. A video released by the Kremlin showed Vladimir Putin greeting Bashar al-Assad with a handshake after which the two leaders sat down before cameras to discuss the issues of common interest. According to the Syrian media, Assad highlighted the mutual trust between Moscow and Damascus. Putin, for his part, described the situation in West Asia as increasingly tense and stressed the need for the continuation of bilateral talks. No more details about the meeting have been specified. The two leaders last met in March 2023 in Moscow. Russia is a key supporter of Syria and has deployed its forces to the Arab country on the request of Damascus to help fight foreign-backed terror groups since 2015.
