‘US full partner in Israel crimes'

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has strongly condemned the Israeli prime minister’s speech before the U-S Congress. It said Netanyahu should have been arrested as a war criminal instead of being given an opportunity to cover up his crimes. The movement said Netanyahu’s speech reflected the depth of his military, security, and international crises, and was aimed at covering up his army’s defeats in Gaza. Hamas described Netanyahu's claims about his efforts to return the Israeli hostages as misleading. It said the Israeli premier obstructed Gaza ceasefire negotiations despite mediation attempts from Egypt and Qatar. Hamas stressed that providing Netanyahu with a congressional platform proved the U-S government’s full partnership in Israel’s heinous crimes in Gaza. The movement dismissed Netanyahu’s claims about the future of Gaza, saying only the Palestinian people have the right to determine their fate and decide who governs them. Hamas also called on all international bodies to take steps to end Israel’s occupation of Palestine and support the Palestinian people’s resistance.

US-Israeli Gaza genocide

More Palestinian civilians have fallen victim to Israel’s indiscriminate attacks across the Gaza Strip more than nine months into the regime’s genocide. In one of the latest strikes, at least four people, including children, were killed when a Palestinian home was bombed in Gaza City’s Sheikh Redwan neighborhood. In Beit Lahia, Israeli forces targeted a group of citizens, leaving six civilians dead and several others injured. In central Gaza, a child was killed in Israeli airstrikes in the Nuseirat refugee camp. In the southern Gaza, four civilians were killed in an air raid on a vehicle in Khan Yunis. Also in Khan Yunis, an strike on a gathering of displaced people killed four civilians, while Israeli sniper fire left two Palestinians, including a child, dead. Three people were killed in the regime’s artillery strikes on a residential apartment north of Rafah. The Israeli genocidal war has claimed the lives of more than 39,100 Palestinians so far, while leaving over 90,000 others injured.

Children plight in Gaza

A renowned American surgeon has made shocking revelations about the Israeli genocide in Gaza, saying the regime’s forces deliberately kill Palestinian children with sniper fire. Perlmutter said the majority of Gaza’s civilian victims were children, and he has evidence of the systematic targeting of children and the war crimes committed against them. He volunteered in Gaza from late April to mid-May 2024. Perlmutter said he had treated children with sniper bullet wounds, some of whom were shot twice. The doctor added that he has seen bodies torn apart or crushed under buildings, in addition to a large number of children who were burned in an unprecedented manner. Perlmutter said never in his life he had seen children mutilated and injured as he saw in Gaza. He said the situation in Gaza reflects the intensity of targeted violence against innocent children, describing it as an intolerable crime against humanity.
