Genocide in Gaza

More Palestinians have fallen victim to Israeli bloodshed as Gaza remains under relentless fire. Four civilians, including an infant, lost their lives after a house was bombed in the Nuseirat refugee camp. In Gaza City, 60 bodies were recovered from under the rubble in the flashpoint neighborhood of Shujayea hit by intense attacks in the past two weeks. Tens of thousands of people have been displaced there as a result. To the south, Palestinians have fought back against Israeli forces in the city of Rafah. A video released by the resistance movement, Hamas, shows Israeli targets being hit in a Rafah neighborhood. Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7. Over 38,300 Palestinians have been killed so far.

Palestinian teen killed

Israeli forces have shot dead a Palestinian teenager in the occupied West Bank. Ali Hasan Ali Rabaya, 14 years old, was killed on Thursday in a village south of the city of Jenin. That’s according to the Geneva-based rights group, Defense for Children International. It says Israeli forces killed Ali Hasan without a second thought. They opened fire on a group of children from inside an armored vehicle, wounding at least five others. One of them is in critical condition. The Israeli regime has stepped up attacks in the West Bank since the start of the Gaza war. Troops raid different locations on a daily basis. The latest such raids took place in the cities of Tulkarm and al-Khalil, and two villages near Nablus. Several were arrested as a result.

Support for Palestine

Yemeni protesters have poured onto the streets of the northern city of Sa’ada in yet another rally in support of war-ravaged Gaza. The demonstration was one of the biggest by the Yemenis in the past months. They have been holding rallies in Sa’ada and the capital Sana’a on Fridays since the Gaza war broke out in early October. The Yemeni protesters denounce Israel and its main supporter, the US, for the genocide in Gaza. The demonstrators hail the Yemeni army for its military operations targeting Israel-linked vessels in the high seas. Those operations have been ongoing since mid-November to force Israel to end its war on Gaza. Yemen says it will continue to back Palestinians until the war comes to an end.
