Gaza ceasefire talks

The Hamas political bureau chief has warned of the catastrophic consequences of the Israeli genocide in Gaza, saying it could take back the ceasefire talks to square one.Ismail Haniyeh said Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, bears full responsibility for the collapse of the negotiations. Hamas says Netanyahu is creating obstacles in the path of negotiations by escalating the regime’s crimes against Palestinians in Gaza, and intensifying attempts to forcibly displace them. Hamas said this is while the resistance movement is showing flexibility and positivity to facilitate an agreement. It also called on the ceasefire mediators to intervene to put an end to Netanyahu’s "machinations and crimes". This after Netanyahu said any Gaza ceasefire deal must allow Israel to resume its aggression against the besieged strip.

Hunger in Gaza

The UN’s World Food Programme has warned that almost half a million people in the besieged Gaza Strip are facing catastrophic levels of hunger. In a social media post, WFP said families often don't receive the full rations and frequency they need due to unreliable access to aid and limited stocks. A UN-backed report recently warned that almost all of Gaza will face famine within the next three months. Nearly 40 children have already died of malnutrition in Gaza due to the Israeli blockade on the territory. International charity group, ActionAid, has also warned that pregnant women in Gaza are going hungry amid severe food shortages.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

Yemeni Armed Forces and the Islamic Resistance in Iraq carry out another joint operation against the Israeli regime in retaliation for the genocide in Gaza. In a statement, Yemen’s Armed Forces said a vital Israeli target was struck in the occupied port city of Umm al-Rashrash, also known as Eilat. It added that the resistance forces successfully hit the target with a number of drones. Yemeni Armed Forces stressed that they will continue these joint military operations until the Israeli aggression in Gaza stops and the siege on the Palestinian people is lifted.
