US-Israeli genocide in Gaza 

Israel continues its deadly attacks across the Gaza Strip despite the global furor following the massacre of Palestinians in the southern city of Rafah. An Israeli airstrike targeted a house north of Rafah, killing seven civilians and injuring six others. Kuwait Specialized Hospital in Rafah also said two of its staff had been killed in an Israeli drone strike. Five of the hospital's medical staff had also been injured in an earlier attack. The hospital is now out of service due to Israeli bombardments. In central Gaza, scores of civilians were killed and injured in an Israeli airstrike south of the Nuseirat refugee camp. The attacks come after more than 50 people were killed as Israeli warplanes bombed displaced Palestinians taking refuge in tents and camps in Rafah. So far, more than 36,000 Palestinians have been killed in the US-Israeli genocide in Gaza. Thousands more bodies remain buried under the rubble. 

Pro-Palestinian protests 

Worldwide protests continue in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. In one of the most recent demonstrations, riot police in the French capital clashed with people demanding an end to Israeli crimes in the besieged territory. Paris police fired tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, who said they don’t want to be complicit in crimes against humanity in Gaza. The protest began in an area not far from the Israeli embassy. The demonstrators described the situation in Gaza as intolerable and demanded action from the French government. Some other European cities, including Madrid and Barcelona in Spain, were also the scene of similar rallies. Across the Mediterranean Sea and in Africa, people also poured into the streets of Tunisian capital and condemned latest Israeli strikes on the Gaza city of Rafah.

Israel war on journalists 

Reporters Without Borders has filed another complaint with the International Criminal Court over Israeli war crimes against journalists.The RSF is demanding that the ICC prosecutor investigate crimes against at least nine Palestinian reporters between December and May. Eight of those journalists were killed and one was injured. This is the third RSF complaint against Israel at the ICC. Around 150 Palestinian journalists have been killed in Gaza since Israel launched its genocidal war there on October 7. Palestinians say Israel is killing the journalists to stop the truth from coming out of Gaza. The RSF’s latest complaint comes just days after the ICC’s chief prosecutor requested arrest warrants for top Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
