Pakistan marks 'Sanctity of Qur'an Day'

The Pakistani government has declared Friday as the official “Day of the Sanctity of the Holy Qur'an” in protest at its desecration in Sweden.
Demonstrations were held all over the country while parliament passed a resolution urging the Swedish government to take legal action against the man who desecrated the Muslims’ holy book.
