Italian Serie A: Spezia 2-2 Salernitana
Spezia have rallied twice to rescue a 2-all draw at Salernitana.
It took Salernitana only three minutes to find the breakthrough, thanks to a perfect free kick by Simone Verdi. But the advantage lasted no more than nine minutes as Rey Manaj smashed home a spot kick to restore parity.
Only four minutes later, Verdi had another chance to score from a free kick, and the execution this time was even better than the first, as his second set piece found the net.
Spezia pushed for an equalizer again and were awarded a second penalty which was converted by Daniele Verde.
With the draw, Spezia remain 15th with Salernitana sitting at the bottom.
