The Phoenix Suns’ winning streak has been snapped after suffering a 124 to 115 defeat against the Atlanta Hawks away from home.
The hosts were the better side in the opener as they finished it 32-30, before taking the next quarter with a single point margin that led to their 64-61 win in the 1st half. The Hawks remained consistent after the break as they widened the gap to 9 points by beating the last season runners up 36-30. The Western Conference leaders couldn’t avoid the defeat as they were held to a 24-all draw in the final quarter. This was the Suns’ 1st defeat after 11 consecutive games, but they still remain at the top of the Conference. Trae Young tallied 43 points for Atlanta, while Devin Booker bagged 32 points for Phoenix in the losing effort.
