Iran- Turkmenistan gas swap deal

A major gas deal was signed at the recent ECO summit. Azerbaijan, Iran, Turkmenistan Agree to Swap Turkmen Gas. This has the potential to show how Iran can become a transnational gas hub. Not only does Iran have the world’s second-largest reserves of natural gas, it’s perfectly located to distribute gas to either the West or East.
