Indonesia COVID-19 patients in mass hospital musical show

Some 1,500 medical workers and COVID-19 patients play mass performance of angklung, an Indonesian traditional bamboo instrument, to commemorate the first anniversary of the country's largest Covid-19 hospital.

The hospital, which used to be an athlete village for the 2018 Asian Games, has served as isolation and treatment center for infected people with mild to moderate symptoms.

During its one year in service, the hospital has treated more than 70,000 patients, and nearly 66,000 have recovered and been released.

The hospital has a capacity of 6,000 patients and its occupancy rate has gradually decreased.

Indonesia is one of the hardest-hit countries in Asia with just over 1.5 million infections and nearly 40,000 deaths.
